What is Curiogaze?
Curiogaze is an educational curiosity box meant to make “gross things” approachable and interesting for all.
Curiogaze is a print, production, and branding project. It includes a main box as well as multiple internal boxes, as well as an educational booklet. The booklet includes information about each item in the box. This is an immersive piece meant to educate and stimulate, and help remove the stigma of bones, rocks, and curiosities as a “weird” hobby. Embrace the weird!
Process
The process in creating curiogaze was realized by sketching numerous possibilities of assets, measurements, and identifying individual items for use.
The color palette was chosen to have earthy tones, while being upbeat and approachable for a wide audience outside of the usual oddity audience.
The booklet was created to be informative while also utilizing drawings of each animal as a coloring page to increase engagement, fun, and further the friendly approach of the box.
